On December 23rd, we will be shutting down TheOre.net after almost three productive years. We wish to thank everyone who has followed the film's progress, from pre-production all the way through completion. We especially would like to thank DVXuser.com, SciFi Channel UK, HD Magazine, TheScreamOnline.com, TwitchFilm, CHUD.com, The Key Pixel Moviethon, and The Telly Awards for their support.This was an experiment in more ways than one, and we're very happy with the results. The production helped lay some of the groundwork for our new company, Rainfall Films, which has just had a very successful year. Website Update Underway

As our longtime visitors will notice, we're in the middle of a fairly large website renovation. The new design is up and running, and the content is still in place - however a whole ton of new stuff is also on the way.Our many thanks go out to the 20,000 plus people who watched The Ore for free over the last month. We are still able to offer it for a little while longer, while our bandwidth holds up. From the official site:"We are the Key Pixel Gathering of Filmers, an association of filmmakers spread across the United States and Canada, looking to form links between the producers of amateur films, independent films and the mainstream. "On Saturday, February 17, 2007 we are hosting an independent sci-fi/fantasy film festival at The Palace Theater in Syracuse, New York. The occasion is meant to be a relaxed gathering of film fans and producers, with some networking opportunities, as opposed to a high-profile media event."
